Introducing the Stumble Guys

And if Stumble Guys were a strange bunch, in the mad city of Screens Ville they lived. They’re ridiculous, and adorable and all they really want to do is waddle their tiny butts over the world’s silliest obstacle course.

A Chaos-Riffic Carnival

It would lead to a world with self-aware, merciless platforms, massive whirling mallets slashing back and forth agendas and greasy surfaces. They are crazy behind the crazy Stumble Guys, and we hear cheerful laughter echoing in the background as these guys work their way through blocks and this lunatic circus chaos.

In fact, we had just as many different types of heroes in our cast as there were challenges for them to conquer. And there was something charmingly disreputable about Sir Stumble-a-Lot shuffling around in a ruby robe and, presumably, one of Mork from Ork’s space helmets. Jack always bouncing up with his spring-loaded legs and face forever beaming giving an eternal boost to the rabble. Lest we forget the unforgettable Twirly Whilry, still soaring overhead with propeller at his neck.

Captain Clumsy — inappropriate course

Captain Clumsy, their gleeful-riddled malt pirate of twinklanimal and cheekisimus. And there was one thing he used to take on every grand adventure — a rubber chicken. But not that anyone was safe & everyone had little trepidation on what next dingbat idea Captain Clumsy, our boss of the day had planned for us all.

Getting Through the Gauntlet

The Great Gumdrop Gauntlet was a high-altitude gumdrop maze that had to be rolled, leaped and hopped through. Caught by a rope, Sir Stumble-a-Lot got loose with assistance from his buddies.

Splatting in the Slime

Next, onto the Slime Slide – a broad river of slime in glorious rainbox colours clamouring and frothing with every footfall. Finally, it was Jumping Jack’s turn to plunge in — well thanks to his springs he’d landed slap bang in the middle with a juicy plop. He came out smiling, and even more curious.

Swinging Around Windmills

Even pop the Stumbles Guys into the air at great speed in one of the Whacky Windmills, giant windmill-style devices. Twirl Whirly, his prop beanie off: dashing between the whirligig blades, twirling here and yonder unbothered (buoyed lightly by high-wind resistance), whirling and wandering through the waves of air he appeared haphazardly in front of while others just laughed.

With the sun setting over Screens Ville and shining upon them as glory shines only on the platforming warriors who have conquered lands, they knew there were further glorious quests to join them. You made anything. possible, when you were falling, and laughing all the time.
